We have come up with a new Feature on Tranz which is an answer to a simple question

“Is there a way to transfer files to people who aren’t using Tranz?”

We are introducing a send to email feature which allows users to send files from their Tranz files collection to people’s email id! Select the file you want to send and click on the email option. Enter email id and click send.

The file will be received as an attachment and the user mail id will be username@gotranz.com.

Existing Tranz users, please update their Tranz to get this feature. (Options > Tools > Update Tranz )

Tranz is turning out to be the easiest way to share files among your friends. This feature is just one of the many things lined up on Tranz.

Have you ever wished you could share your vacation pics with your loved ones without having to go through the exercise for uploading all the pics into your computer and then attaching and mailing it to your friends?

We all love the Bluetooth… but if it just was a lot more than the 30 m radius!

So Tranz just solves all those problems for you. Actually it is a lot more than just a file sharing application. Tranz helps you be in touch with your friends in your phonebook. Building this application wasn’t exactly a walk in the park but every moment of it has been pretty exciting. This blog will explain a lot of stuff about the application.

Get to know what’s happening with your friends in the home page and shout about what you are up to!

Import the files you want to share into the collection.

Check out your friends’ collections. Click on the file to view the thumbnail of a pic… and request it!

Always stay updated with what is new on your friends mobile and request the files form the home page.

Invite ur friends via the sms invite in the tool option of the options menu and get started with Tranz.

Its time u start sharing files n sharing thoughts in a much better way. There’s a lot more in queue to enhance your experience with Tranz.

Snatch a TRANZ invite.

Since the first public iAccelerator demo at IIM-A, a lot of progress has been made.

Starting today, we’re beginning to give out invitations to users.

If you currently use TRANZ, you’ll see an “Invite a friend” link appear on the settings page by which you can invite your friends to your network.

You can request your beta account here. For those of you already testing the application, we would love to hear your thoughts and request features at our fanpage discussion board at our Facebook Fanpage.

We’ll run in private beta for a bit as we get closer to a final launch in early summer.

We woul’d like to thank our alpha testers who have provided us some great feedback so far, & we look forward to more people having the chance to test out TRANZ and seeing what grows!

Being mobile addictive, we passionately believe in the power of mobile internet to enrich peoples lives to connect,socialise, and reduce the operator barriers that exist in today’s world.
